If anyone’s wondering how to lower your body weight/body fat easily without exercise, here’s how I did it (am doing it):
Green tea. Green tea. Green tea. It is literally my saving grace. Some days I’ll drink a mug of it 3 times a day, others at least once a day but always at night. I like to have maybe a piece of chocolate with the tea at night and I find that I wake up having lost a bit of weight. It’s like magic. It works by speeding up your metabolism which helps your body to burn calories quickly. And it’s SO easy. The tea bags at whatever store you shop at are probably pretty cheap. Just microwave a mug of water for a minute and steep the tea and yeah. I don’t drink it with any honey or sugar, I think the honey doesn’t go too well with the natural flavor of the tea. But, if you aren’t a big tea person, lemon would probably go best with the tea’s flavor.
For goodness sake, eat! Just eat smaller portions of food and look for lower calorie options at all times. After you start doing this, you’ll get used to it and you won’t even think about it. For example, last night I ate at Lucky Dill and ordered a pressed sandwich. I ate half of it and the pasta salad, and decided to take the other half home. I treated myself to a piece of cake there because I haven’t really eaten dessert in a while, but that’s besides the point. Also, when you’re at Starbucks, ask for the skinny version of the drink you order. I’ve been ordering the skinny Peppermint Mocha lately; it tastes the same to me and it’s only 100 calories! Smaller portions, less calories.
Water is your best friend. Try to replace all of your liquid intake (unless it’s green tea) with water. I mean, sure, a soda every once in a while is cool or if you want your Starbucks coffee, but as long as your water intake is greater than your intake of those sugary substances, you will notice a difference. You’ll probably also feel better and see improvement in the look of your skin.
Protein > carbs. I use protein supplement in the shakes I drink every few mornings (I can’t handle too much; it messes with your digestive system. For this reason it is important to make sure you also ingest enough fiber. Flax seed is a great way to do this, but if not having a salad or something green helps). Don’t completely cut out carbs, you’ll go crazy! I mean, we all love bread. Just cut down a bit.
Don’t deprive yourself. If it’s your birthday, eat whatever the hell you want that day. But the next day be sure to make good choices regarding what you eat. Every once in a while give in to your cravings. It keeps you sane and makes losing the weight much easier.
Take a daily vitamin.
I have lost about 8 pounds so far doing this. I want to lose a few more and then I’ll probably start doing some strength training to build muscle. But this is a great, HEALTHY way to see weight loss decently quickly. I can only speak for myself and the way my body reacted to it, but there’s no harm in giving it a try.
